CLCC Approach
Our experimental approach
The CLCC Project utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to
- Identify how metabolism in CLas is organized and functions
- Identify what CLas obtains from its hosts that enables it to live within their bodies
- Identify what the microenvironment is like within the host bodies where CLas grows and replicates
- Identify what conditions will be required to culture CLas in vitro
- Ultimately culture CLas in vitro, either in planktonic culture or in biofilms
